49ers vs. Chargers score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, analysis for ‘Sunday Night Football’

We’re live with the Week 10 edition of Sunday Night Football as the Los Angeles Chargers travel north to take on the San Francisco 49ers.

Both teams are returning from a Week 9 bye, but only one is getting its offensive skill position group at full strength. The 49ers will have Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey in the lineup together full-time for the first time after McCaffrey was a part-timer in his first game with the team and Samuel sat out in Week 8 with an injury. Meanwhile, the Chargers will still be without both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, leaving Justin Herbert with Josh Palmer, Gerald Everett, and DeAndre Carter as his top options on the outside. The 49ers do (like the Chargers) still have some injury issues on defense, though, with Arik Armstead out for this game and Jason Verrett once again going on injured reserve.

Which of these teams will get off to a good start to the second half of the season? We’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, keep it locked to our live blog throughout the evening as we update you with stats, scores, and highlights.
