A popular Jeffersontown pizzeria is changing hands and getting a makeover, but it will remain pizza-centric. in J-Town. They will reopen the pizzeria as the fifth Parlor location this spring. After three decades in the business, “Chubby” Ray Perkins has decided to “turn the page on a new chapter”, according to a press release. The company did not specify a reopening date under its new concept, but said it would retain any current employees who choose to stay with the brand. She posted a video on her social media about her excitement for the new location. Perkins also posted a message announcing the news. Chubby Ray’s is located at 3910 Ruckriegel Parkway in J-Town. For those who want to visit the restaurant as it is known, Chubby Ray’s will officially close in a week on Sunday January 1st. 29. It is closed on Mondays but will operate 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for its final days on Saturday and Sunday. Parlor operates four Kentuckiana locations, one in New Albany, one in Jeffersonville, and two in Louisville.

They will reopen the pizzeria as the fifth Parlor location this spring.
